Most training companies sell “content”. We don’t. We coach you to perform when it matters: audit pressure, tight deadlines, real-world decision making.
That’s why we can put skin in the game with our Certification or Refund Guarantee on selected PECB Instructor-Led courses. You follow the program, stay engaged (yes, camera on), do the work, and we add a free follow-up session if you fail your first attempt. If you still fail after two attempts, we refund the training fee (the certification/licensing and exam costs remain non-refundable).

1. The promise (what we stand for)
For our Instructor-Led certification trainings, we don’t just teach content.
We train professionals to change behavior, build real-world reflexes, and apply a method that holds under pressure (audits, incidents, deadlines, regulators).
Because we’re confident in our approach and the trainers we work with, we offer a Certification or Refund Guarantee under the conditions below.
2. Scope (what this guarantee applies to)
This guarantee applies only to:
Cyber Academy Instructor-Led trainings.
PECB certification courses.
Courses where the course page, proposal, or invoice explicitly states: “Certification or Refund Guarantee”.
This guarantee does not apply to:
Self-paced / on-demand courses.
Exam-only purchases.
Free sessions, webinars, workshops.
Bundles, discounted offers, partner offers, or custom corporate agreements unless explicitly included in writing.
3. Pricing structure and what “refund” means
3.1 Two components of the price
The total price includes two components:
Training Fee (refundable if eligible).
Certification Pack Fee (non-refundable in all cases), which covers third-party fixed costs, including:
a) the licensing cost (access to PECB, materials, etc, and
b) the two exam attempts.
3.2 What is refunded
If you are eligible, we refund the Training Fee only.
3.3 What is never refunded
The Certification Pack Fee is never refunded, because those costs are due regardless of your exam outcome.
4. Eligibility conditions (objective and enforceable)
To qualify, you must meet all conditions below.
4.1 Attendance (and camera-on rule for online)
You must attend at least 90% of the live Instructor-Led training time.
For online sessions:
Your camera must be on for the duration of the session (except short breaks).
If you have a technical issue, you must notify the trainer immediately (chat/email) and comply with alternative attendance verification (roll call, participation prompts, etc.).
Repeated camera-off behavior or refusal to comply with attendance verification may void eligibility.
4.2 Participation and mandatory work
You must complete 100% of mandatory activities defined during the course (exercises, checkpoints, assignments, mock exam if included).
If we provide a preparation plan, you must follow it in good faith. If you skip the work, the guarantee is void.
4.3 Exam attempt timing (default 30 days, extendable with proof)
You must schedule and attempt your first exam within 30 calendar days after the end of the training.
Extension is possible if, and only if:
You request it before the 30-day deadline, and
you provide evidence of scheduling constraints with the certification platform (for example: screenshots showing no available slots, email exchanges, or platform messages).
If you wait until after the deadline without requesting an extension, eligibility is void.
4.4 Two failed attempts + proof (both attempts required)
The guarantee applies only if you fail the exam twice (two attempts).
You must provide official proof of failure for both attempts (score report or official results issued by the platform/certification body).
No proof, no guarantee.
4.5 Mandatory follow-up session (free of charge)
After the first failed attempt, you must complete a follow-up session with our trainers before attempting the second exam.
This follow-up session is free of charge.
It is mandatory for eligibility.
If you fail to attend and do not reschedule within 10 calendar days after we propose dates, eligibility is void (unless you provide a valid reason and we confirm a new date in writing).
4.6 Compliance and integrity
You must comply with:
all exam rules (no cheating, impersonation, misconduct),
all training rules (no theft or sharing of materials, no disruptive behavior),
basic good faith conduct.
Any breach or suspected breach may void eligibility immediately.
5. How to request the refund (process + deadlines)
5.1 Deadline
You must request the refund within 10 calendar days after receiving the official result of your second exam attempt.
Requests submitted after this deadline are not eligible.
5.2 Required documents (complete file only)
Your refund request must include:
Your full name, course name, and training dates.
Official proof of failure for both attempts.
Any evidence related to an approved scheduling extension (if applicable).
If your request is incomplete, it will not be processed until complete.
If you do not provide missing documents within 10 calendar days after our first reply, your request is closed.
6. Decision and payment
If your request meets all conditions, we confirm approval by email.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method when possible, within 7 calendar days after approval.
If the original payment method cannot be used, we will agree on a reasonable alternative.
7. Fair-use and anti-abuse protections
This guarantee exists for professionals who actually do the work. It is not a free training loophole.
We may refuse a refund if there are clear indicators of abuse or bad faith, including (non-exhaustive):
not meeting attendance thresholds,
repeated camera-off behavior preventing verification,
not completing mandatory activities,
missing proof of one or both failures,
skipping the mandatory follow-up session,
misconduct or suspected misconduct,
misrepresentation of facts.
7.1 One claim per participant per course
This guarantee can be claimed once per participant per course.
7.2 Access to paid materials after refund
In case if a refund is granted, the access is not revoked and the trainee keep the rights to have access to the PECB material.
8. Policy changes
We may update this policy over time.
The version that applies is the one published (or attached to the proposal/contract) on the date of purchase.
9. Legal note
This commercial guarantee is offered in addition to any statutory rights applicable under consumer protection law.
Certification outcomes also depend on the certification body’s platform and rules and your own preparation. We do not control the certification body, but we do stand behind the quality of our training delivery and coaching.
